A space to talk
about what matters.

I believe that open, honest conversation about sex, desire, intimacy and the body is one of the most powerful tools we have. My practice is a warm, non-judgmental space for individuals and couples.

About me

Lucy

Lucy

Hello, I'm Lucy.

I am a sex therapist and couples therapist, trained at the École de Sexothérapie Holistique (ESH), with a deep commitment to creating space for the conversations that matter most: the ones that often go unspoken.

I work with the whole person, not just the presenting issue. Whether you are navigating a shift in desire, a physical difficulty, challenges communicating with a partner, questions about identity, or the changes that come with menopause, there is a place for your story here.

Alongside conversation, I draw on other tools I am trained in when they can help: EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Bach flower remedies, sophrology and art therapy. We only use them if they feel right for you.

My understanding of sexuality, identity and relationship diversity goes beyond the clinical: I bring personal as well as professional experience to this work.

I see clients in person in Bordeaux and online, in English and French, and warmly welcome people of all genders, orientations and relationship structures.

Common questions

You might be wondering…

The first session is simply a conversation. I will ask you quite a lot of questions, not to test you, but because I genuinely want to understand who you are and what has brought you to me. If anything doesn't feel comfortable to answer, just say so: there is no obligation to go anywhere you're not ready to go. It's also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work and to ask me anything you want to know. Nothing is expected of you other than showing up.
Not at all. Many people come simply because they want a deeper understanding of themselves, their desires, or their relationships, without anything being "wrong". Curiosity, a sense that something could be better, or a life transition are all perfectly good reasons to reach out.
Yes. What you share in sessions stays between us. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of this work, and I take it seriously. The only exceptions are situations where there is a risk to your safety or someone else's, and I would always discuss this with you directly.
It's very common for one partner to be more ready than the other. Individual sessions can be a good starting point: working through your own feelings can sometimes open a door that felt closed. If and when both partners are willing, couples sessions can begin at any point. There's no right order.
Yes, and genuinely so. My understanding of sexuality, identity and relationship diversity goes beyond the clinical. I bring personal as well as professional experience to this work, and I do not treat non-heterosexual, non-binary or non-monogamous lives as problems to be explained. You won't need to educate me on the basics.
Both are possible. I see clients in person on Thursdays at Lhotéa, 11 rue de Lhôte in Bordeaux, and online by secure video call, for which you just need a quiet, private space and a phone, tablet or computer. Many people find the online format makes it easier to open up, from the comfort of their own home. Online sessions are available across time zones, in English and French.
